Galvin Green Lance Review
Who actually likes wearing a waterproof jacket? Who likes the feeling of being strung up like a battery packed supermarket chicken? That’s usually how I feel when the rain comes in and the waterproof jacket has to come out.
Galvin Green have been the benchmark for quality products but this Lance Interface-1 is a game changer. A jacket you can wear that repels water rather than one that restricts your whole game.
The Lance is made from such a lightweight material you would hardly expect to keep the rain out but it does. It also keeps you warm when the temperature drops. Galvin Green say this is the jacket you can wear in 95% of the rounds you play. We can only agree.
It’s designed with elasticated waist and sleeves, full zip up the front and a small scorecard pocket on the sleeve. Small Galvin Gavin detailing on the neck and upper arm but in a restrained and subtle way. Available in 7 colours and sizes form S-XXL.
Galvin Green say this a perfect Summer/Autumn jacket, probably to try to convince you to update your full waterproof set. We say, that in all but the most horrendous of conditions, this is the item you would pull from your bag.
All in all this is a superb piece of apparel. It only leaves one question? Which colour shall we pick for the second one?
Do not buy anything else, an absolute must purchase.
